About the Editor :: Awards
In 1993, at the International Workshop on the Molecular Biology of Axolotls and other Urodeles, Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, I was honored with an award in "Recognition of Excellence, presented in appreciation of your constructive management of the Axolotl Colony and your concern for service to the community of scientists for whom the axolotl means so much."
In 1997, I was awarded the Marcus Singer Medal for Contributions to Regeneration Biology and was the keynote speaker at the 37th annual Singer Symposium on Regeneration Biology, held at Indianapolis.
